Primary Responsibilities And Key Deliverables
- Oversee daily activities of personnel.
- Direct employees on handling incoming service requests beyond their usual duties.
- Create and update schedules for the team and the TWMT.
- Train the environmental team on job tasks as needed.
- Ensure compliance with PAP's regulatory obligations.
- Report monthly spending and budget for Miller Environmental and Industrial.
- Participate in monthly meetings with TWMT, including KPI follow-ups (e.g., Days of hazardous waste, number of flowbins on site, number of boxes on site).
- Anticipate and plan for turnarounds with the help of the waste coordinator, including schedules, analysis, and profiles.
- Send weekly reports to TWMT.
- Track and inform TWMT of regulatory changes (RCRA, DOT).
- Continuously improve the waste management process.
- Find solutions for common issues such as releases, invoices, and POs.
Required Skills And Competencies

- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with waste management software and tools.
- Ability to manage budgets and financial planning.
Minimum Education And Experience
- Experience in waste management or a related field.
- Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
- Certifications in hazardous waste management preferred.
Work Environment
- Tools, equipment, machinery used: Hydroblasting, Vacuum Truck, and Tank cleaning equipment.
- Working conditions: Will be exposed to all weather conditions. Work on various structures and surfaces both at ground and elevated levels up to and possibly exceeding 150 ft. Work in confined spaces. Work a 12-hour shift with 30-minute lunch breaks. If requested, work overtime, and respond to emergency callouts whenever they occur. Work days, nights, and weekends. Travel to customers and other Miller sites as needed.
- Physical effort required: Handling tools, materials, and equipment weighing up to 150 lbs. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to sit, stand, walk, crawl, bend, squat, and kneel. Must be capable of climbing towers/vessels/tanks.
