Position: General Surgeon
Location: Tiffin Hospital, Tiffin, OH

Overview:
Tiffin Hospital is seeking a skilled and compassionate General Surgeon to join our esteemed surgical team. This role provides an exciting opportunity to practice in a supportive environment with access to cutting-edge technology, including a Da Vinci Robot. The General Surgeon will perform both elective and emergent surgeries while maintaining a commitment to providing exceptional care to the communities we serve.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general surgery procedures, including elective and emergency surgeries.
- Provide comprehensive preoperative, operative, and postoperative care to patients.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Participate in on-call rotation (1:4) with approximately 10 gratis days per month.
- Offer expert consultation and guidance on surgical care within the hospital.
- Maintain patient documentation in compliance with hospital policies and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification or eligibility in General Surgery.
- Valid medical license in the state of Ohio.
- Robotic surgery experience preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to high-quality patient care and collaboration within a team environment.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Office hours in Tiffin (16 hours per week) and Willard (8-12 hours per week).
- Surgery block time at Tiffin and Willard Hospitals.
