1YR/1ST TIMERS - IMCU/Step Down RN - Req 8079 Will position float between units: Yes Is on-call required? No Are weekends required? Yes 6 shifts per 6 weeks Are block schedules required? No What are expected ratios? 1:4 Special requirements: Are 48 hours approved: Yes Type of Facility: Short Term Acute Care Total Staffed Beds: 379 Level II Trauma Center Department Uniform/Dress: The dress code for licensed nursing personnel (RN, LVN) is solid navy blue colored uniforms or scrub attire. (Scrub tops may have colored piping.) Print tops are not acceptable attire except for licensed staff in the Children's Hospital (PED, Pedi, PICU, NICU). Women's Services (L&D, Mom/ Baby) will meet the requirements for their unit specific scrub attire. Parking Notes: Free in any unrestricted space, Please park in any of the free surface parking lots with signs that say ‘Employee/Visitor Parking. Job Requirements
Must be AHA (Instructor, Provider, or RQI) or “Heart&Stroke” certification from Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation ONLY. Must check UD to verify certifications required. If no UD is linked, defer to Clinical Tracks. CL - If UD or Clinical Track is not available at the time of qualification, please add dash note "CL please audit requirements". Not required for Non-Clinical or remote candidates. Current certification issued by an acceptable agency - AAP, AHA or Canadian Paediatric Society (CPS).
