Job Summary We are looking for a Kitchen Fire Suppression Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the Kitchen Pre-Engineered Fire Suppression services and be able to work independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities include inspection, service and maintaining Fire protection equipment, understanding of kitchen suppression system, and local fire marshal guidelines, upselling and adhering to safety regulations. The successful candidate will have a strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills. Key Responsibilities Install, service, inspect, maintain, and repair kitchen suppression systems and components manufactured by ANSUL, Pyro Chem/Protex II, Range Guard and Piranha. Identifying NFPA code and non-conformance issues. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams. Inspect electrical components of fire suppression system equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair. Maintain proper documentation for all work performed. Follow safety procedures Have a valid Driver’s License in the state of Virginia. We are actively enhancing our capabilities through specialized training in Portable Fire Extinguishers (NFPA 10) and Pre-Engineered Kitchen Fire Suppression Systems (NFPA 17A and NFPA 96).
