Description:
Position Purpose At
Saint Francis Hospital
the Virtual Registered Nurse RN is a key part of our innovative Virtual Connected Care delivery Model. This is a true team approach to patient-centered care and uses technology to support direct care staff and increase patient interaction. What you will do The Virtual RN is connected to the Patient Room virtually with complete access to medical records and performs detailed examinations via advance camara technology.
They also provide mentoring and support to the direct care nurse.
Minimum Qualifications Education
:
Graduate of an accredited college or university affiliated nursing program.
Specialty credentialing & educational degree according to clinical nursing practice specialty area.
BSN graduate preferred.
Licensure
: Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse RN in Connecticut.
Certification
: BLS certification required.
Experience:
Minimum Eight (8) years of experience in health condition management, which must include adult condition management and Hospital experience.
Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience. EPIC preferred
