Medical Staffing Business Development Manager Full-time | Washington, DC + Maryland + Virginia | BrightStar Care Do you thrive on building relationships, closing deals, and uncovering new opportunities? BrightStar Care is hiring a Business Development Manager to grow our medical staffing division across the DMV. As immigration and healthcare landscapes shift, facilities are facing urgent staffing challenges—and we’re stepping in to help. We’re looking for a sales-driven, results-oriented professional who can hit the ground running, build trust fast, and scale our staffing partnerships. This role is perfect for someone with healthcare staffing, B2B sales, or medical recruitment experience , who’s comfortable making cold calls, walking into facilities, and pitching solutions with confidence. What You’ll Be Doing: Proactively identify, contact, and pitch to hospitals, rehabs, clinics, schools, and other facilities needing nurses, CNAs, and allied health staff. Build relationships with hiring managers, administrators, and HR leaders across DC, Maryland, and Virginia. Respond to urgent staffing needs and match them with BrightStar’s pool of vetted professionals. Work closely with our internal team to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery for staffing clients. Track activity, leads, and contracts—reporting progress to leadership weekly. Who You Are: You’ve got hustle—you’re driven, persuasive, and comfortable with high-volume outreach. You know how to sell in healthcare or staffing—and you get the urgency. You’re resilient: you don’t mind hearing “no” and keep going until you find the “yes.” Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage a large territory. Bonus if you’ve worked in healthcare staffing, medical sales, or healthcare recruiting.
