Per Diem | Days and Evenings
$17.50-18.50/hour

Responsibilities of a Receptionist
- Greet and assist visitors, residents, patients, and staff while operating the telephone console, managing the reception area, and performing clerical duties.
- Operate telephone console; receive, route, and transfer calls; take messages as needed.
- Greet and welcome visitors, determine the nature of their visit, and direct them accordingly.
- Monitor and allow access to visitors through doors between Nursing and Rehab Center.
- Prepare identification bracelets, labels, paper charts, and nameplates for new residents/patients prior to scheduled admission.
- Input new residents/patients into EHR upon arrival.
- Handle outgoing and inter-office mail for distribution.
- Organize and maintain the coffee bar in the lobby and foyer.
- Create an environment of respect and kindness.
- Maintain assigned work hours.
- Conduct daily operations in line with Brooke Grove Retirement Village's mission of "Touch people's lives".
Requirements of a Receptionist
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One to two years of customer service experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency in Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and Google Suite.
- Current CPR certification preferred.
