Sales Account Executive
strategically generates, qualifies, and closes new business opportunities within a defined geographic region, fulfilling targeted goals to create profitable new business partnerships. The role involves generating leads, analyzing transportation, fuel spend and sales reports, and utilizing a CRM system to track opportunities and develop a pipeline of potential customers. The Sales Account Executive works with product experts and account managers, promoting cross-functional sales, developing leads, and collaborating on proposals involving multiple revenue streams. Under the direction of the Sales Manager, this role is crucial in building lasting customer relationships based on strong communication and sales support. Pay : Salary + commission, with projected total annual compensation of $111,000+, plus a fuel card, mileage, phone, and laptop. Benefits are included. Location : Must reside in San Jose or the South Bay area. Essential Functions
Meet all sales goals and metrics for new business growth in the assigned territory. Manage the entire new business relationship process, including prospecting, cold calls, lead generation, closing deals, and initial customer purchases. Handle prospects and new customers effectively, providing solutions that foster confidence, security, and respect. Lead proposals, negotiations, and coordinate complex decision-making processes to maximize sales and growth. Analyze accounts, monitor revenue trends, and develop customer cost savings and pricing strategies. Manage new account setup, coordinating with Credit, Billing, and Customer Service teams for seamless onboarding. Compile weekly sales reports on achievements, losses, and competitive intelligence. Maintain accurate customer and activity data in the CRM system. Travel in-market daily, with up to 30% overnight travel required. Qualifications
At least 1 year of sales experience. Self-motivated with experience working in the field or remotely. Ability to process data from multiple sources and communicate effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Professional appearance and strong interpersonal skills. Team-oriented with flexibility to meet goals and deadlines.
