Join a dynamic engaging HR Team! We are experiencing growth in our Columbus and Dayton markets. Looking for HR Generalist in both regions. Must have comprehensive background in handling employee relations at all levels; as well as enjoying some recruiting!
The HR Generalist II is responsible for performing all recruitment and selection activities, as well as effective communication and delivery of human resource procedures and practices for all Credit Union employees.
- Performs all recruitment activities, including selection and onboarding activities for all open positions in defined work group. Must be proficient in utilizing a variety of recruiting platforms to attract top talent. (45%)
- Address employee concerns in a timely manner and assist the HR Manager in handling sensitive employee relations issues that have the potential for significant exposure to litigation. Escalate complex questions or situations to the Director, Human Resources in a prompt and confidential manner. Ensures proper policies, procedures, risk mitigation activities, and operating controls are followed. Reports gaps in policies, procedures, and operating controls to leadership to ensure member impact and risk is mitigated. (20%)
- Assist WPCU managers with employee relations issues and setting performance expectations to ensure disciplinary actions and terminations are in compliance with applicable laws and regulations and maintain updates and changes to the performance management system. (25%)
- Assist the Learning & Development Team in the development and delivery of in-house training for HR technical skills such as interviewing, diversity and compliance, and similar topics, and conduct formal presentations to ensure all employees and potential employees understand the value proposition of Wright-Patt Credit Union’s employee programs. (5%)
- Membership(s) in local chapters of HR communities such as MVHRA and periodic attendance with in-person or virtual events. (5%)
