Were hiring a Asst, Project Manager with experience in Science & Technology environments including labs, manufacturing, cGMP, and higher education facilities. This role oversees all aspects of project delivery with a focus on building strong teams, ensuring technical excellence, and driving client satisfaction.
What Youll Do
- Lead technical construction projects across Life Sciences, Data Centers, Higher Ed, and Civic spaces.
- Manage preconstruction, budgeting, estimating, scheduling, procurement, change orders, billing, and closeout.
- Lead subcontractor buyout and manage contracts and risk.
- Partner with field leadership to drive site activities, resolve challenges, and ensure top-tier quality and safety.
- Build strong client relationships and lead OAC communications.
- Mentor project engineers, coordinators, and junior staff to grow talent within the team.
- Leverage tools such as VDC, Lean practices, and sustainability strategies to enhance delivery.
What You Bring
- 5+ years of experience managing complex construction projects; at least 1 in a Science/Technology setting.
- Experience in life science, data centers, manufacturing, education, healthcare (OSHPD), or civic/DSA construction.
- Skilled in estimating, scheduling (MS Project/P6), and cost control.
- Strong understanding of MEP systems and building permit processes.
- Experience in client-facing, negotiated delivery models.
- Excellent communication and team leadership skills.
- OSHA 10 certification.
California Pay Range Disclosure
The starting base salary for this position is $121,000$137,000 annually. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including experience, education, role complexity, and job location. This position may be eligible for bonuses and a full benefits package.
