High Level Project Overview:
Client is looking for a LAN administrator contractor in Akron/Cleveland office. Under general supervision, this role provides support and maintenance of computer hardware and software. Troubleshoots PC and Local Area Network problems. Is responsible for working in multiplatform environments with multiple business areas. Will assist with end user support and answering support tickets.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
Experience with mobile workforce and data communications. Technical knowledge and experience with computer hardware, software applications and operating systems Knowledge of LAN, WAN network protocols Ability to work on technically complicated systems with little supervision. Ability to analyze principles of computer and software systems to interpret and solve problems. Experience with Office365 Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing. Ability to lift or move up to thirtyfive pounds. Ability to contribute to a positive work environment. Ability to be courteous to coworkers and customers, follow directions from supervisors and refrain from abusive or profane language. Ability to respond to multiple customer and employee/contractor requests or demands and manages workload by wisely prioritizing his or her tasks often and adjusting to the situation at hand.
Education Requirements, Licenses, Certifications:
Associate degree, CompTIA A+ or MCSE Desktop Infrastructure certification or three or more years’ experience and/or combination preferred. Must have acceptable driving record. May require travel to company locations less than 25%, depending on project needs Inoffice position 5 days/week
Pay Range: $30 - $34 Hourly
The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
