Diagnostic Ultrasound Technologist , you will play a significant role in the diagnostic process by utilizing advanced sonography techniques to capture detailed images crucial to patient care. Your expertise will aid in the diagnosis and monitoring of various conditions, supporting physicians in making informed decisions and providing reassurance to patients. Responsibilities Perform a variety of ultrasound exams, including abdominal, pelvic, musculoskeletal, and vascular studies, ensuring high-quality and accurate imaging results Operate ultrasound equipment with precision, adjusting settings to optimize image quality Ensure proper patient positioning and maintain comfort and safety throughout the examination process Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to interpret ultrasound findings and support timely diagnostic decisions Accurately document patient information and imaging results in the EMR system Educate patients on ultrasound procedures and address any concerns or questions Follow safety and regulatory guidelines, maintaining compliance with standards such as HIPAA, AIUM, and facility protocols Perform routine equipment checks and maintenance, and report technical issues promptly Commit to ongoing education and professional development to stay current on sonography advancements and best practices Qualifications
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-S) State licensure as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, if applicable Experience & Skills
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Sonographer in a healthcare or hospital setting Proficiency in operating ultrasound equipment and related software Strong understanding of human anatomy and sonographic techniques Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, especially in a patient care environment Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team setting Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and occasional on-call shifts Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range:
$138,684 - $143,634 annually Details about the benefits package will be provided upon application or during the interview process
