Description
We are currently seeking a highly motivated X-Ray and/or CT Technologist. This role will report to the Site Administrator and enable us to continue to scale in the healthcare industry. What You'll Do
Interpret referring order to determine what body parts need imaging. Verify with patient the procedures to match with referring doctor’s order and patient’s clinical history. Consult with radiologist or senior technologist if unsure about study adequacy. Explain the test to patients what to expect for their exam and properly position them. Set the controls on X-ray equipment in preparation for imaging. Perform quality diagnostic imaging procedures to meet certification standards for interpretation by radiologists. Check all X-ray images for clarity and adequacy for interpretation before patient leaves, retaking them as needed. Provide radiation shielding to minimize exposure during an X-ray procedure. Update patient records with accurate clinical information. Obtain patient’s consent for any physical contact during procedures. Follow harassment prevention procedures when patient is of the opposite sex. Forward STAT images and burn CDs when necessary. Maintain cleanliness and perform routine maintenance on X-ray equipment. Ensure a safe and clean working environment. Handle and disclose patients’ protected health information (PHI) in accordance with HIPAA standards. Maintain inventory of radiologic supplies and place orders as needed.
Qualifications
Previous X-ray imaging experience. ARRT certificate and license. Additional qualifications for CT Techs: At least 12 months previous CT imaging experience. BLS certification. Venipuncture certificate. IV credentialed.

Work hours are Monday - Friday during standard business operating hours. Total compensation target pay range for this role is: $35.00-45.00 per hour.
