IMPLEMENTATION SPECIALIST JOB SUMMARY: Implementation Specialist is responsible for prepping the facility to work with the WMS application. Works with Operations and the Supply Chain team to configure the facility and application configuration prior to launch or initial WMS training. Responsible for implementing the WMS training agenda at each of the facilities, including during the launch of new programs. Monitors, tracks and evaluates the completion of the training program by the Material Managers, Material Supervisors, Material Coordinators and Mobile Equipment Operators. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Works with supply chain on facility layouts. Ensure proper materials are purchased and onsite for on time deployment. Print and install signage in accordance with layout. Work with technical team on initial application configuration and data loads. Work with the local team and the WMS application team to get initial configurations loaded into the system. Keep standard work instructions for receiving, material moves, min submissions, and audit process up to date. Present SWSs to Materials Team and Mobile Equipment Operators. Train users the proper use of the scanning equipment. Accountable for keeping the training materials up to date. Take the Materials Team and Mobile Equipment Operators through the WMS hands on training. Repeat the modules to evaluate users for certification. Monitor and reinforce scanning principles using real life examples. One-on-one coaching as necessary. Work with the teams to troubleshoot and problem solve exceptions. Conduct classroom training on the desktop application for Material Managers, Supervisors and Coordinators. Work with HR to assign, track and measure training modules for Material Managers, Supervisors and Coordinators. Conduct regular reviews and Q&A sessions to reinforce concepts learned. Complete the initial feasibility matrix upon the conclusion of the 4-week training period Audit/Cross-Reference training evaluations to ensure completion with pass rate. Responsible for the handoff to local team. Provide continuous support to the local teams. Provide secondary training on advanced principles. Identifies training deficiencies and works with the local team to close the gaps. Other activities as requested and/or required. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Experience: 2+ years experience warehouse management. 2+ years materials management experience Might require proper mobile equipment certifications in order to properly set up and train TRAVEL: Travel Required:yes KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITI ES: Comfortable with computer software and scanning equipment. Knowledge of materials processes. Knowledge of AMTS or some other WMS. Candidates residing in California or Colorado are not eligible for remote positions.
