Philanthropy Officer - Lyon College School of Dental Medicine
The Lyon College School of Dental Medicine is excited to invite applications for an energetic, self-starting Philanthropy Officer. This is a wonderful opportunity for a passionate fundraising professional to help build a portfolio and shape the
future of dental education in Arkansas and beyond. The Philanthropy Officer will play a key role in building lasting relationships with alumni, friends, and supporters, inspiring major philanthropic gifts that directly impact students, research, and the broader dental community. This is a hands-on, donor-facing position for someone who thrives on creating connections and making a meaningful difference.
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or CFRE certification preferred. At least 7 years of proven success in major gift fundraising, ideally in education, healthcare, or related fields. Demonstrated ability to self-motivate, prioritize independently, and consistently move prospects toward major commitments.

• Outstanding interpersonal, storytelling, and communication skills.
• Comfort working independently while also collaborating with a passionate,
mission-driven team.
• Willingness to travel regularly and participate in occasional evening and weekend
activities.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required.
