Median $104,601 annually (dependent on experience) Shift:
Thursday to Sunday, 7:30 AM 4:00 PM (32 hours/week) Job Description: We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented MRI Technologist to join our imaging team in Brattleboro, Vermont. This is an urgent, day shift position working four consecutive days per week. The ideal candidate will be responsible for independently performing a variety of MRI procedures in a fast-paced clinical setting while ensuring the safety and comfort of patients. Candidates must demonstrate sound judgment, a thorough understanding of MRI safety protocols, and a commitment to high-quality patient care. Key Responsibilities: Perform diagnostic MRI procedures independently under limited supervision Operate MRI equipment safely and accurately following established protocols Ensure proper patient identification, preparation, positioning, and documentation Uphold safety standards to protect patients and staff from magnetic field exposure Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and technologists to ensure quality results Accurately record and maintain patient data and imaging results Provide compassionate care to patients of all ages, including inpatients, outpatients, and emergency room cases Assist with departmental quality assurance and equipment maintenance Qualifications: ARRT (MRI) certification or eligibility (preferred) Current Vermont state licensure or ability to obtain prior to start date 1+ year of MRI experience preferred Comprehensive knowledge of MRI safety protocols and procedures Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Benefits: Competitive salary based on experience Stable day shift schedule with 3 consecutive days off Collaborative and supportive work environment Opportunity to work with a diverse patient population On-site access to a full-service Radiology Department offering advanced diagnostic imaging This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated MRI Technologist to advance their career in a dynamic and well-equipped imaging department.
