Req#: 19-07550 ***This job req is subject to overtime discounts (0.95x exempt; 1.35x non-exempt) and a 10% discount after six months of service*** Location: Costa Mesa, CA - candidates must be local to the LA area. Duration: 4 months Interviews: 1st will be over the phone. 2nd will be in person. Responsibilities
Working with the Delivery and Migration Leads, the Migration Specialist will be responsible for the Discovery, Assessment, and Planning of the applications in the Windows 2008 environment to the Windows 2016 servers. Windows Server 2012 / 2016: 3+ years IIS running on Windows servers 2008, 2012, 2016- 7.5/8.5/10.0: 3+ years Microsoft IIS (Windows platform) configuration and administration: 3+ years Microsoft .NET based applications deployment and configuration: 3+ years Microsoft Powershell, Windows 2012, 2016: 3+ years Experience with automated deployment tools for deploying IIS/.Net applications such as Octopus, Jenkins, etc. Experience installing, configuring, and implementing an application deployment process using Octopus or Jenkins. The Migration Specialist will be experienced in and comfortable using these tools and very familiar with the Windows/.NET application migration procedures to build the new environment and migrate all existing data and applications to the target environment. The Migration Specialist will work with the PM and other members of the team to help define the apps to pilot and execute the pilot. They will also help prioritize all other applications into 3 waves and lead the migration phase. They will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to enable transition during Hypercare and ensure the long-term support team can seamlessly begin Maintenance & Operations activities when migration is complete. We expect them to work onsite 3-4 days at a combination of either: The client HQ in Costa Mesa AAA Headquarters: 3333 Fairview Rd, Costa Mesa, CA 92626 The Client Irvine office: 9701 Jeronimo Rd, Irvine, CA 92618 About the Company
