Trelleborg Healthcare and Medical is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team. The Production Supervisor is responsible for on-time, first-pass yield of product to customer specifications. Manages resources to achieve this and provides leadership to develop staff for success. Addresses failures and implements remedies within company guidelines to prevent recurrence. Continuously improves processes and removes waste from the production system.
Salary range: Depending on Qualifications and Experience: $73,000 - 85,000

Summary: Apply engineering principles to optimize the Value Stream for specific products using Lean Sigma tools.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Analyze product specifications and translate into manufacturing processes to establish production rates, quality, and reliability.
- Develop manufacturing methods, establish labor standards, and develop product cost information.
- Document all manufacturing process information within the Sil-Pro system.
- Identify improvement opportunities and implement solutions promptly.
- Enhance production rates and reduce scrap through equipment, process, or human factors improvements.
- Assist in troubleshooting production issues to ensure delivery and quality.
- Review schedules and specifications to resolve problems.
- Participate in CAPA activities for corrective actions.
- Contribute to product DMR disposition planning.
- Follow ISO 13485, 21 CFR parts 11 and 820, and Sil-Pro Quality System protocols.
- Execute DOE's, problem solving, FMEA's, validations, control plans, and continuation engineering.
- Support Production, Engineering, and Quality departments.
- Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with Automation, Tool Room, and Training departments as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
