Base pay range
$54.35/hr - $59.35/hr Quantam Solutions provides IT solutions and consulting for various clients. We offer competitive hourly wages, health benefits, paid time off, and a 401(k) plan. We are currently seeking two IT Solution Architects. This position’s work schedule is three days onsite in East Hartford, CT and two days remote. A fully remote work schedule is not an option. Project Description: Our client maintains various computer systems that are used in all the courts and other state agencies throughout the State of Connecticut. We are seeking two IT Solution Architects to assist with migrating Legacy applications, development, enhancement, integration, and documentation. Applications comprise of windows and web-based .NET applications with a SQL Server database backend. The Ideal Candidate Will Be Able to Contribute Immediately in the Following Areas: Develop and architect .NET application for Legacy upgrade (Cobol ACMS). Identification of risks and system constraints. Estimation of development timeline. Software development, testing and release management tasks. Mentoring of development staff. In Addition to the Standard Skills and Experience for the Job Class, the Ideal Candidate Should Be Prepared to Discuss the Following: A Bachelor's Degree is required. Minimum ten years of experience in the design, development, testing and deployment of software solutions to manage complex business requirements. Previous software architecture experience. .NET MVC, Razor Pages .NET Entity Framework SQL Server (2016 and up): Ability to write and debug complex queries (e.g., outer, self and recursive joins). SSIS & SSRS IIS (8.5 and up) SQL Server Performance Tuning Simplify Index analysis. Identify the root cause of SQL Server blocking problems. Bootstrap, jQuery and various other front-end frameworks. Messaging APIs (e.g., Service Broker, SignalR) Understanding and implementation of common OOP design patterns. Experience writing and maintaining unit tests. Experience with Production Support activities. Timetable: The selected candidate may be able to join our client’s team as soon as the onboarding process is completed. A duty station will be assigned in East Hartford, with opportunities for hybrid remote work (three days on-site and two days remote) and a flexible work schedule between 35 and 40 hours per week.
