Residential Rehabilitation Program (RRP) services are designed for individuals with serious mental illness who have difficulty maintaining housing. Our team helps individuals obtain housing, employment, mental health services, and more. What to expect. This is a direct care opportunity to assist individuals who receive mental health services in supporting
utilization & authorization activities
for Gaithersburg Residential Rehabilitation Programs. You will
track authorizations
and
plan due dates ,
maintain spreadsheets, send out clinical requests for new authorizations, maintain
and
send monthly reports
to other staff members, and
track and review
the progress of clients. Additional responsibilities will include: Set up meetings with clients and their teams to complete all plans as they are due Input, update staff members, and submit progress paragraphs for clients for approval Obtain authorization for services for all clients within the program through the Provider Connect system of Value Options Work in Evolv and Provider Connect systems to enter approved authorizations, research and correct claim errors, discharge clients, and update client information Update and maintain accurate billing tracking Ensure compliance with all regulations and standards of COMAR, CMS, and CARF through planning and documentation of services Track and inform supervisor of authorization and funding issues What you’ll get from us. Bachelor’s degree in psychology, psychiatric rehabilitation or related field required. Minimum of two years’ experience working in psychiatric rehabilitation required. CPRP required within one year of beginning position. Must have excellent writing skills, problem solving skills (figuring out auth issues), is recovery oriented and understands strength-based plans. Knowledge of COMAR, CMS, CARF and COMCOR regulations. Knowledge of Recovery Model and Evidence-Based Practices in psychiatric rehabilitation. WHY SHEPPARD PRATT?
