Nucor Tubular Products-North is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Environmental, Health, and Safety Supervisor to oversee our Ghent, KY, Chicago, IL and Marseilles, IL locations.This role will be responsible for the following items but is not limited toworking closely with our team and Leadership to drive our mission to world-class safety and safety systems, as well as ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local environmental regulations.The EHS Supervisor will lead and develop the safety and environmental team members responsible for interpreting and practically applying regulatory standards.

This position can work from the Marseilles IL or Ghent KY office.

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

• Bachelor’s Degree in any of the Quality, Health, Safety, or Engineering disciplines
• 3 years of experience in a Safety and/or Environmental position.
• Commitment to safety by being actively involved in their division's safety initiatives.
• Must be willing to travel in support of our other locations.

• Safety or Environmental degreepreferred.
• 1-2 years experience in a leadership role
• Environmental or occupational safety experience in an industrial setting
• Knowledge of wastewater treatment operations
• Knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations, including industrial hygiene and testing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
• Safety training experience and certification (30-hour OSHA certification, fall protection, LOTO, OSHA)
• Willingness to travel in support of our various locations is required.
