The work schedule commitment for this position requires the following: Must be able to work rotating shifts (day & night)Must be able to work three (3) twelve (12) hour shifts on a weekly basisMust be able to work every third(3rd) weekendHoliday commitment consists of 1 holiday per seasonResponsibilities Reporting to the Nurse Manager, Patient Care Tech IIs will provide direct bedside care to patients: Performs assigned nursing procedures for the comfort and well-being of the patientMaintains appropriate documentation on all assigned patients, including flow sheetsMaintains advanced knowledge and experience with phlebotomy and lab specimen collection including T&S, Blood CulturesAssists physicians with examinations and tests as neededOther tasks include respiratory services, and rehabilitation servicesQualifications To qualify as Patient Care Tech II, you must meet the following requirements for consideration: High School Diploma or equivalent requiredOne of the following is required: PCT or related certification, Certified nursing assistant (CNA), EMTMinimum of 2 years nursing assistant, PCT or healthcare experience required.
