Are you looking for a career that allows you to have a positive impact while building meaningful connections?If this is you, we want you to join our team as a Sales Associate.As a Sales Associate, you'll be at the forefront of the insurance industry, working alongside an American National agent to develop meaningful relationships, drive business, and boost customer retention. Your ability to listen, empathize, and problem-solve are all key in creating a positive experience for every customer you serve. Success in this role comes from building a strong local network and establishing in-person relationships within your community. Your Responsibilities (but not limited to): Client Engagement: Engage with clients through telephonic conversations and in-person meetings to generate new business. Network Development: Work with your American National agent to develop a targeted marketing strategy and build a robust referral network. Sales Management: Manage all the process requirements of new businesses from quoting, contracting, and application submission. Identify Cross-selling Opportunities: Schedule appointments with clients and identify additional cross-selling opportunities to generate more business. Underwriting: Perform field underwriting and secure quality business for the agency. Claims Assistance: Assist clients with filing insurance claims successfully. Pivot to Other Lines of Business: Successfully pivot to additional lines of business to meet client needs. Product Knowledge: Stay up to date on new products and initiatives and enhance your knowledge by completing training programs for product specialization. Goal Achievement: Meet all production goals set by the Agency Owner.What You Bring to the Table: Previous insurance experience (preferred, but not mandatory). A self-motivated, driven approach with a strong desire to succeed. Excellent communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and timely follow-up capabilities. Proficient in computer operating systems, including Microsoft Office Suite. A humble and coachable attitude.
