We are currently looking for a Continuous Improvement Champion to join our team in Holland, MI.
As a Continuous Improvement Champion, you will:
Lead the implementation of our Haworth Management System (HMS) across all value stream segments, driving process excellence and organizational transformation. As the architect of positive change, you'll partner with diverse teams to optimize processes in customer service, dealer relations, and inventory planning while implementing breakthrough solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
Essential Functions
Manages multiple continuous improvement projects simultaneously and develops both short-term and long-term plans with internal customers to optimize value streams and eliminate waste. Implements HMS principles to drive continuous improvement across every functional area. Troubleshoots Lean Manufacturing operational issues on daily basis. Spend significant time with internal teams to facilitate implementation of HMS, identify production flow, identify sequence of events, and define constraints or continuous improvement opportunities. Delivers foundational skills training to team members and actively coaches members to integrate skills into HMS process to ensure success of programs. Evaluates effectiveness of training and assures appropriate revisions are made, ensuring processes support corporate policy in areas of health, safety, and environmental assurance. Analyzes program progress, utilizing problem solving, surveys, and assessments to understand areas for continuous improvement of HMS Programs. Contacts and travels to manufacturing locations and/or dealers and seminars to obtain information relative to HMS processes, implementation techniques, and process assessment, to continuously improve state-of-the-art knowledge of techniques. Shares information with other members, via training and/or day-to-day contact Reports periodically to Manager, Director and/or Vice President regarding team performance, implementation schedules, performance to measures, and assessments of status of HMS and/or Continuous Improvement Process. Required Qualifications
Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or similar field of study. (in lieu of bachelors: Associate Degree plus 2 years related experience OR 4 years related experience) 5 years minimum of continuous improvement experience with Bachelor's Degree (3 years related experience with Master's Degree) Applicants must be able to work in Holland, MI without relocation assistance. Applicants must possess an unrestricted right to work in the US to be eligible for this position. Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Manufacturing. Experience in B2B environment. Experience in continuous improvement within supply chain or customer service. Exposure to ERP systems. Strong Data Analytics skills (PowerBi). Lean Certification.
