WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a vital role in delivering direct, quality clinical care while supervising nursing assistants working with residents within assigned units.
Key Responsibilities
Perform daily visits to residents on your assigned unit to assess and monitor their physical and emotional well-being. Inform the charge nurse, physician, and/or Director of Nursing of any changes in a resident's condition.
Recognize resident issues and emergency situations, taking prompt lifesaving measures in the absence of a physician.
Deliver holistic care for residents within the boundaries of your LPN license.
Assist in managing the inventory of medications and medical supplies to ensure that all necessary resources are readily available for resident needs.
Complete administrative tasks such as medical forms, reports, evaluations, and charting as required.
Report any occupational exposures to blood, bodily fluids, infectious materials, and hazardous chemicals as per the facility's safety protocols.
Qualifications
Must possess and maintain a current, valid state LPN license.
Current, valid CPR certification is required.
