Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant Location: Lexington, NC 27295 Schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM | 35 hours/week Work Days: Variable schedule, Sunday through Saturday Pay Rate: $30 - $35 per hourPosition Summary:A well-established healthcare facility in Lexington, North Carolina is seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support patient rehabilitation across a variable weekly schedule. This role focuses on delivering effective therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients regain strength, mobility, and independence.Key Responsibilities:Carry out treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical TherapistAssist patients with therapeutic exercises and functional mobility activitiesMonitor and document patient progress, reporting updates to the Physical TherapistEducate patients and caregivers on exercises, movement strategies, and at-home careMaintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with facility and regulatory standardsCollaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated and patient-centered carePromote a safe environment by following all infection control and safety protocolsQualifications:Associate's Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant programActive PTA licensure or certification in the state of North CarolinaCPR/BLS certification (required or willingness to obtain prior to start)Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skillsFlexibility to work a variable schedule including some weekends as assigned
