Mercyhealth System in Rockford, IL is currently seeking a Pediatric Urologist MD/DO Board Certified/Board Eligible, to join our team of collaborating Physicians in Rockford, IL!
Mercyhealth System is a thriving, multi-state, integrated health system comprising of 7 hospitals, including a state-of-the-art ACS designated Level I Adult Trauma and Comprehensive Stroke Center. With more than 900 W2 partnered providers and 7,500 professionals, we service over 80 outpatient clinics and other service sites that provide care to residents in more than 55 communities throughout Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin. We provide over 125 specialty and sub-specialty services, including adult critical care, neonatal intensive care, neurosurgery, heart and vascular care together with WATCHMAN and TAVR, a cancer institute, plastic and reconstructive surgery, robotic surgery, orthopedic surgery, and much more!
Opportunity:
- Salary Range 585k-750k

- Craft YOUR practice with the support of collaborating Urologists and operational leaders.
- State of the art operating room equipped with robotic-assisted, pediatric laparoscopy, and pediatric cystoscopy surgery equipment.
- Established advanced continence program and urodynamic tools.
- Hospital based site, enjoy the ease of outpatient clinic and surgery within the same facility.
- Work alongside a collaborative pediatric team in real time including anesthesia, radiology, and maternal fetal medicine.
- Affiliated with the University of Illinois Rockford School of Medicine.
- Opportunity to teach and work with medical students.
- M-F, Flexible Schedule
- Your support team will include a team of nurses and an Advanced Practice Provider.

- An oncology fellowship is not required for this role however, this is a wonderful opportunity for a fellowship trained urologic oncologist to work with collaborating oncologist at Mercyhealth’s new Cancer Institute opening late spring 2025.

Qualifications:
- MD/DO Board Eligible/Certified
- Urology Fellowship trained with ABU added qualifications in Pediatric Urology
- The ability to communicate clearly and work as a member of a team.
- A passion to teach residents and medical students in didactic/clinic setting.
- Skilled at providing exceptional care.
