Overview
A minimum of five years of progressively responsible HR experience required. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources or a related field required. A combination of education and experience may qualify a candidate for this position. Must have experience in recruitment and selection, employee relations, policy development, benefits and compensation administration, and worker’s compensation. Knowledge of modern principles and best practices in personnel management and public administration. Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred. Experience in a health care setting preferred. Skills
Strong leadership and management skills, including problem-solving, decision making and coaching. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to make public presentations as needed. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Able to establish and maintain constructive relationships with applicants, staff, other department managers and the public. Knowledgeable and supportive of CHCC mission and philosophy. Proficient with various software including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
