The School of Speech-Language Pathology at Pepperdine University is seeking a candidate for the role of Associate Dean for its developing online graduate program, the Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology. The Associate Dean will collaborate with the Program Director to administer the program, including coordinating admissions, ensuring course quality, managing onsite immersive learning experiences, and coordinating student affairs with college personnel. The ideal candidate will have an earned terminal degree (academic or clinical doctorate), CCC-SLP certification, at least 3 years of experience with SLP academic programs, strong administrative skills, and a commitment to student success. Preferred qualifications include an established research agenda, experience with online teaching, admissions, and student mentorship. The program is planning to enroll its first cohort in Fall 2025 (pending accreditation). Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled. The Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology at Pepperdine is an Applicant for Candidacy by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Employment offers are contingent upon successful screening, including criminal, education, and employment background checks, in compliance with applicable laws.
