Description
Summary:
The skilled Registered Nurse (RN) will provide independent nursing care in various clinical settings. You will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for both routine and complex patient needs. This position empowers you to manage nursing contingencies proactively and delegate tasks appropriately among care providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Demonstrates competencies in leadership, whether as a self-leader or in guiding others.
Utilizes the nursing process in accordance with ANA standards to deliver comprehensive patient care.
Addresses complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and their families.
Administers medications and treatments following protocols, while monitoring for side effects.
Keeps detailed documentation of patient histories, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
Assesses patient and family learning needs and provides tailored education and resources.

Job Requirements:
Education/Skills:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
Experience:
At least 1 year of experience in a relevant nursing specialty preferred.
Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications:
BLS required, and an active RN License in the state of employment required.
