Coatings Inspector
for construction-related and regular maintenance of water storage tanks. Job Responsibilities: Perform observations in accordance with the techniques and procedures outlined by the company, industry and certification held. Meet with and observe and record contractors’ activities at various project sites as required. Regularly climb elevated tower/ladder +/-200’ elevation and utilize safety equipment throughout tank observation operations. Observe details of work performed by others, document results, and obtain photographic documentation of work product. Prepare written observation reports in accordance with H2M standards. Determine and ensure compliance with technical documents and industry-specific standards and codes and report back on the same. Review and download field data into laptop computer and transfer to company server in accordance with standards outlined. Prepare detailed daily job reports and discuss projects with supervisor on a daily basis. Perform other like duties as assigned in office or field. Education and Qualifications: Willing to Train and Assist with Certifications. Valid Driver’s License and ability to drive to various project sites in own vehicle. Proficient knowledge of coatings, techniques and procedures. Ability to interpret and receive instructions on specific assignment, objectives, and complex features on a regular basis. Ability to stand, climb and walk continuously during an 8+-hour period. Ability to climb elevated ladders +/-200’ elevation with 35-pound load. Ability to perform strenuous work in a varying climate (heat and cold, etc.). Must be able to effectively use technology in the office and field. Must have good computer skills and be able to learn related software. Must have excellent communication skills. Note: Occasional nights and weekends may be required. NACE Certification Level 1, Level 2 or Level 3 Certified. OSHA Construction Safety Training Preferred. The
salary range
for this role is $30 - $50 / hour. The employment offer may deviate from this published range based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, experience, specialty, knowledge, education, geography and/or related certifications – not related to any applicant’s characteristics
