Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist I to support our client’s medical facility based in Miami FL 33186/33165. This is a 3-month assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Position Name: Phlebotomist I

Pay rate: $17/hr -$19/hr

Location: Miami FL 33186/33165

Duration: 3-months contract with possible extension

Shift: Hours are M-F 6:00am-2:00pm. Alternating Saturdays 6:00am-11:00am.

Job Summary:

The PSR I serve as the face of the company, interacting directly with patients for routine and diagnostic testing. This role requires exceptional phlebotomy skills, strong patient communication, and strict adherence to safety and confidentiality protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) serves as the face of the company, interacting directly with patients for routine health visits and critical health decisions. This role involves:

• Drawing quality blood samples from patients and preparing specimens for laboratory testing.
• Ensuring safety, accuracy, and professionalism in every patient interaction.
• Creating an atmosphere of trust and confidence by clearly explaining procedures.
• Following established procedures, confidentiality policies, and process excellence standards.
• Working at doctor’s offices, patient service centers, or other locations based on business needs.

🔹 Specimen Collection & Processing:

• Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection with precision.
• Verify patient demographic information, including initials and signatures post-venipuncture.
• Ensure all specimens are properly labeled in the patient’s presence.
• 6 months of phlebotomy experience required
