Currently we are seeking a Frontend Magento Developer to join our team in building fast, performant, visually stunning frontend experiences that are brand-centric, while respecting important aspects such as SEO, accessibility, and overall usability.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Write clean, readable code in various programming languages.
- Become a subject matter expert in modern frontend development practices and for React and Vue libraries and ecosystem.
- Implement and maintain SEO, performant, accessible, semantic HTML.
- Enhance build tools to convert LESS into light, performant CSS files.
- Implement and maintain frontend testing (Unit, Integration, and Functional) and PWAs.
- Build experiences using Static Site Generators.
- Assist with incoming support tickets and implementing new user-facing features across various company websites.
- Clearly document processes, procedures, and changes.
- Use and improve internal development tools, such as environment and deployment.
- Utilize and strategize CDN edge servers.
- Use of AWS technologies, such as Amplify, LightSail, S3, Route53, SES, Lambda.
Maintenance:
- Monitor and apply patches to company websites and web applications.
Collaboration:
- Develop a thorough understanding of the brands business, business objectives and existing technologies.
- Provide suggestions for technical solutions to solve problems.
- Attend daily standup meetings with the Digital Platforms team.
- Speak on frontend matters during calls with cross functional teams, stakeholders, and/or vendors.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATONS:
Experience, Knowledge & Education:
- Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in front-end web development.
- Familiarity with Git version control; GitHub preferred.
- Understanding of responsive web development.
- IT-related bachelors degree or certification or relevant years of experience.
Technology:
Application Expertise:
- HTML5/CSS3, JavaScript, PHP, WordPress, Git VCS (GitHub preferred).
- Magento 2 layout and templating system.
- Working knowledge of React, and/or Vue, and in creating component and UI libraries.
- Consuming SOAP, REST, and GraphQL APIs.
Application Familiarity:
- Magento 2.
- Adobe Commerce Cloud.
- AWS.
- SASS and/or LESS.

- High level of self-motivation and initiative, and able to excel in a fast-paced environment, quickly acquiring proficiency with new skills.

Other:
- Employees who are in Non-Exempt positions must accurately complete, obtain approval by their manager and timely submit a timecard in the form provided by the Company, as it coincides with the Companys bi-weekly payroll schedule.
- Ability to work extended hours as business needs warrant, may include nights and weekends.
- Domestic/international travel required (less than 10%).
