Description Oak Grove Technologies, LLC a fast-growing federal contractor, is seeking a Motor Vehicle Mechanic Helper at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Artesia, New Mexico. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for automotive maintenance and repair, a willingness to learn, and a desire to grow in the automotive industry. As a Motor Vehicle Mechanic Helper, you will play a crucial role in supporting our experienced mechanics with a variety of tasks to ensure efficient operations and top-quality service. Oak Grove Technologies offers competitive compensation and benefits package. Requirements Assist experienced mechanics with vehicle maintenance and repair tasks. Perform basic inspections and diagnostics on vehicles. Help with the disassembly and reassembly of vehicle components. Keep the workshop clean and organized. Assist in ordering and managing parts and supplies. Maintain a safe and efficient work environment. Learn and develop skills in automotive maintenance and repair. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. A strong interest in automotive maintenance and repair. A willingness to learn and take direction. Basic mechanical knowledge or experience is a plus. Strong work ethic and attention to detail. Effective communication skills. Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
