Full Service Veterinary Hospitals team, you will hold a pivotal position within the clinic. Our veterinarians are committed to delivering high-quality care to ensure optimal outcomes for pets. Your responsibilities will include: Providing exceptional patient care through thorough examinations, accurate diagnoses, and treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each patient. Taking a problem-solving approach to veterinary medicine, including formulating comprehensive diagnostic and treatment plans. Maintaining detailed medical records, documenting all patient interactions, findings, and treatments accurately. Performing a range of surgical procedures, including routine and complex surgeries such as spays, neuters, and mass removals. Conducting dental procedures, including full examinations and both simple and complex extractions. Developing treatment and care plans for hospitalized patients, ensuring smooth transitions and effective communication with referral facilities. In addition to these essential functions, you will also: Engage in collaborative rounds with peers and lead the exchange of knowledge to enhance patient care. Contribute to a culture of teamwork and shared goals, fostering a supportive workplace. Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the hospital's mission. Supervision & Collaboration:
While you will operate with a high degree of autonomy in patient care, you will receive guidance from the Hospital Medical Leader or Area Medical Director. Constructive feedback will be provided to help you advance your skills and the quality of care. To be successful in this role, you should possess: A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an AVMA-accredited institution. An active and unrestricted veterinary license in your practice state. A current DEA license and any required controlled substance licenses. USDA Category I Accreditation or the ability to obtain it within two months of hire. Confidence in performing routine anesthesia and surgeries. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to patient care. A team-oriented mindset and willingness to learn and embrace innovative practices. The job environment primarily consists of working in a veterinary hospital, which may require bending, lifting (up to 30 pounds), and standing for extended periods. Regular interaction with clients and their pets is an integral part of the role. This position plays a crucial role in enhancing the quality of our services and ensuring a cohesive, motivated veterinary team that prioritizes patient well-being and client satisfaction. You'll have the chance to impact the growth of our practice while upholding high standards of veterinary care. The salary range for this position is $103,600.00 - $220,000.00 per year. Actual compensation will depend on experience and location.
