Arcis Golf is seeking a talented and experienced Sales Director to oversee Private Event and Wedding sales for Ocotillo Golf Club in Chandler, Arizona! Primary Responsibilities include the following: Responsible for the Sales and Service of Private Events and Weddings at Ocotillo Golf Club Manages, coaches, and develops sales manager/s and is responsible for the team’s overall performance and daily sales activities Manage prospect database and pipeline including detailed notes and organization utilizing CRM system Schedule sales calls and business development activities to grow the pipeline with qualified leads and execute sales strategies through timely follow-up and activities that produce high closing rates Conduct tours of the club to qualified potential clients, coordinating with other departments to create customized experiences that increase sales Work closely with clients to fully understand their event vision, preferences, and requirements, including venue layout, catering, décor, entertainment, and additional services. Create comprehensive event plans or BEOs that cover all logistical aspects, including timelines, vendor coordination, staffing needs, and technical requirements. Ensure every event detail is thoroughly documented and communicated with relevant teams to ensure flawless execution, from arrival times to post-event breakdown and everything in between. Establish a client base of organizations, associations, social, and corporate businesses through direct outside and inside sales efforts Responsible for the development and execution of prospecting and marketing plans for the private event product line for the club Represent the club at trade shows and other public forums Drive lead generation through cold-calling and outside business development Negotiate function space and food & beverage prices ensuring confirmation and requirements in writing are shared with the client and affected departments Accurately forecasts revenues and tracks bookings Other duties as assigned Qualifications: 7-10 Years in Wedding, Private Event, or Hospitality sales experience preferred 3+ Years in leading high-performing sales teams to exceed targets Proven ability to prospect, negotiate, and close new business Strong prioritization, planning, and organizational skills Ability to utilize CRM and funnel management tools and apply them consistently to forecast business, manage customer opportunities, build opportunity pipeline, and make business decisions Excellent written and verbal communication skills Sets high goals and continuously strives for excellence Effectively illustrates a compelling point of view and moves others to action Bachelor's degree from four-year College or University preferred Team Member Lifestyle Perks!
