$60,000 per year base salary + up to $46,000 bonuses available + benefits About the Role: We are seeking an elite-level sales professional with deep-rooted experience in luxury hospitality, catering/banquets, and event sales. The Director of Entertainment — Private Events will be responsible for aggressively growing our private event entertainment business through proactive sales efforts, relationship management, and strategic partnerships with our existing hotel and resort clients nationwide. This is a high-performance, results-driven role for a salesperson who thrives in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment. The ideal candidate has an exceptional track record of exceeding sales goals, cultivating high-end client relationships, and delivering five-star service experiences. This is not a passive account management role—this is an active, high-energy sales position requiring relentless hustle, strategic selling, and an unwavering commitment to success. Key Responsibilities
Sales performance: Drive aggressive revenue growth in private event entertainment bookings through our existing hotel relationships consistently exceeding sales targets and KPIs. Client Development: Cultivate and maintain deep relationships with catering/banquets/events managers at our hotel clients to generate repeat business and referrals. Cross-selling/Outreach: Identify new business opportunities within our existing hospitality client base Luxury Event Consultation: Collaborate with clients to curate bespoke entertainment solutions tailored to upscale private events, corporate functions, weddings, and VIP gatherings. Contract Negotiation & Closing: Own the entire sales cycle from initial outreach to contract execution. Industry Networking: Represent the company at hospitality and luxury event industry functions, trade shows, and networking events to elevate brand presence and generate leads. Travel Commitment: Regular travel required to visit client properties, attend events, and nurture partnerships in-person. High-Touch Client Service: Uphold the highest standards of luxury hospitality service, ensuring a seamless and exceptional experience for our discerning clientele. Required Experience & Qualifications: Proven track record in high-performance sales, consistently exceeding revenue targets in a luxury hospitality or event sales environment. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in catering, banquets, or private event sales within the luxury hotel, resort, or high-end event planning industries. Deep knowledge of corporate events, weddings, and luxury private event planning, with the ability to craft high-touch, bespoke entertainment experiences. Strong negotiation, closing, and persuasion skills—a closer’s mentality with a hunger for success. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive, and high-pressure sales environment. Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with a polished and professional demeanor suitable for high-end clientele. Willingness and ability to travel extensively for client meetings, site visits, and industry events. Pay & Benefits:
