Full Time (36 hours per week) Schedule:
Evening/Night (7pm-730am), rotating weekends and holidays SUMMARY: As an Inpatient Mental Health Registered Nurse, you play a critical role in delivering compassionate and effective patient care at Rochester Regional Health. RESPONSIBILITIES: Deliver high-quality, patient-centered clinical care.
Conduct initial and ongoing assessments using appropriate data (physical, psychological, educational, and risk-screen data tailored to the patient’s age and development).
Effectively communicate assessments with the interdisciplinary team and utilize available resources to meet patient and family needs.
Create and document individualized plans of care based on patient needs, strengths, limitations, and goals.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and protocols relating to safety, medication administration, and documentation.
Revise plans of care based on ongoing evaluations and update documentation accordingly.
Complete at least one clinical research utilization (CRU) form annually, utilizing a recent research article.
Achieve a minimum of 5 nationally approved contact hours (CNE or CEU) each year.
Timely completion of mandatory in-services and health screens.
Maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing.
Registered Nurse license in New York State.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.

EDUCATION: BS: Nursing (Required) LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS: BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association (AHA), RN - Registered Nurse - New York State Education Department (NYSED) PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting. PAY RANGE: $37.18 - $49.92 Clifton Springs, NY 14432 The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full-time applicant. It may be modified in the future and is eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
