is currently seeking a talented and experienced Membership & Marketing Director to join our team and take our membership and marketing efforts, including communication and social media strategy, to new heights.

RESPONSIBILITIES
:
Develop and execute comprehensive membership and marketing strategies, including communication and social media. Proper documentation of all Membership Files. Create and implement an integrated communication and social media plan aligned with the club's brand identity and objectives. Conduct tours for prospective members and lead new member orientations. Manage all aspects of the club's communication channels, including website content, email marketing, social media platforms, and digital advertising that is aligned with The Plantation at Ponte Vedra Beach. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify key messages, promotions, and events to be communicated to members. Create engaging and compelling content for various communication channels, ensuring consistent brand messaging and high-quality visuals. Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of communication and social media campaigns, making data-driven recommendations for improvement. Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in communication and social media marketing to continually enhance our strategies. Oversee the club's public relations efforts, including media relations, press releases, and crisis communications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective and timely communication of club news, events, and promotions. Manage relationships with external vendors and agencies, such as graphic designers, photographers, and PR firms, to support communication and marketing initiatives. Conducts annual club survey on membership dues, equity, practices and fees. Develops and adheres to a departmental budget; after approval, monitors and takes corrective action as necessary to help assure that budget goals are attained. Plans, promotes and generates enthusiasm and interest for the club’s diverse social program. Arranges for special publicity need and supplies for each event; decorates areas for promotions. Maintains and oversees member Website and App. Photograph members at social events. Coordinates with food and beverage department personnel to plan major food promotions throughout the year and special monthly dining room and bar promotions. Oversees the designs, development and implements programs and activities for members and guests’ children alongside Youth Activities Manager. Coordinates the development of and produces the club’s newsletter and calendar and any other member related communication. Tracks the success of all membership activities. Performs manager on duty functions as scheduled. Manages internal calendar and meeting spaces in conjunction with Catering Manager. Manages all Board Meetings, Materials and Communications via Belles Board.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Proven track record of success in sales and marketing roles, preferably within the hospitality, club or luxury lifestyle industry. Strong understanding of membership sales and marketing principles, strategies, and best practices. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing communication and social media strategies. Proficiency in using CRM software, marketing automation tools, social media management platforms, and other relevant marketing technologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to interpret data and make data-driven decisions. Self-motivated and driven to achieve targets and exceed expectations. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS : Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds; ability to stand and sit for long periods of time and be on feet for 6 plus hours a day.
WORKING CONDITIONS : Works indoors, outdoors, in an office setting and in a restaurant and pool setting; varying weather conditions including extreme heat, cold, dryness and wetness.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or at least five years’ experience in related field or experience in similar position preferred.

TYPICAL HOURS
:
Monday through Friday or Tuesday through Saturday ranging from 9am to 7pm; some weekends/holiday/evenings as needed; frequent additional hours may be required during the club’s busy season.
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to ten pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to forty (40) pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and color vision.
