Looking for summer employment and have an interest in healthcare?
Sauk Prairie Healthcare is recruiting students or others seeking limited-term employment. Summer employment options available for 11 weeks starting in May or June.
Schedule: Monday through Friday from 6:45am - 3:15pm.
Do You Belong Here? We are seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to:
Assembles and prepares equipment, instruments, and supplies for all specialties using surgeon preference cards as a reference. Set up and maintain sterile field while anticipating and responding to the surgeon intra-operative needs. Functions as second assistant during surgical procedures. Assist with prepping and sterile draping of patients. Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and holding retractors. Assist with reprocessing and sterilization of all instruments. Assist with cleaning of equipment, surgical suites, and storage rooms. Order, fold, and store linens. Transport all sterile items to department. Assist with room turnover by removing trash and linen, mopping floor and putting equipment away. Order supplies as needed.

Work Experience and Education:
Required - Current student in Surgical Technologist program, within 9 months of graduation.
Preferred - Experience in instrument processing.
Hourly Rate:
$17.69/hour

- Sauk Prairie Healthcare has locations across southwest Wisconsin. Our Hospital Campus, Wellspring Campus and 3 surgical specialty practices are located in Prairie du Sac. Our primary care clinics are located in Mazomanie, Plain, Spring Green, Prairie du Sac, and Lodi.
