Description
Summary/Objective
The Shipping Associate I position is responsible for packing and shipping ordered product to customers.
Essential Functions
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Verify part, lot, and quantity picked matches pick list. Select appropriate packaging method, label parts per customer requirements. Pack customer orders quickly, efficiently, and accurately. Use customer specific portals to upload documents, create advance shipping notices or bills of lading. Create additional shipping documents as necessary. Process small package (UPS/FedEx/DHL) through a variety of carriers. Utilize company ERP system for data entry and item/warehouse management. Communicate daily with individuals from the sales/purchasing departments on order/package issues, delays, damage, or any other occurrence that may affect outgoing or future orders. Follow all AS9100, AS9120 and ISO9001 standards; WISHA and OSHA Follow all company rules and policies.

Physical Demands
Strength Guideline: The employee must frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds, occasionally lift or move up to 70 pounds and rarely lift or move up to 100 pounds.
Motion Parameters: The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
Vision and Hearing: The employee is required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, at times can be high.
Required Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED and one year of related experience.
Preferred Education and Experience
At least one year of forklift experience.

Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED and one year of related experience.Forklift experience is preferred.
