Role Description:
Mabaya Group is looking for a Freelance Copywriter to craft compelling and engaging content for digital and print marketing materials. This role requires a creative writer who can produce high-quality, persuasive copy that aligns with brand messaging.
This is a remote contract role, but candidates must be based in Queens, New York, and eligible to work in the United States.
Responsibilities:
Write clear, compelling, and engaging copy for websites, social media, ads, and marketing campaigns. Develop persuasive messaging to enhance brand identity and audience engagement. Conduct research to ensure accuracy and relevance in all written materials. Meet project deadlines while managing multiple writing assignments. Proofread and edit content for clarity, grammar, and consistency. Incorporate SEO best practices to improve online visibility. Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
1+ year of professional copywriting experience (freelance or staff). Strong creative writing, editing, and storytelling skills. Ability to write for different industries and audiences. Excellent grammar, proofreading, and attention to detail. Candidates must be based in Queens, New York, United States, and eligible to work in the U.S. Preferred Skills:
Experience in marketing, advertising, or content creation. Knowledge of SEO, content strategy, and brand voice development. Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Compensation & Job Type:
Freelance, Contract (Paid) – Competitive per-word or per-project rates based on experience. Estimated Pay Range: $25 – $60 per hour or $300 – $3,000 per project, depending on scope and complexity.
