General Description Under direct supervision, provides direct general nursing care to residents in long-term care facility. Examples of work include: passing medications, taking and recording temperatures and blood pressures, colostomy care, treatments, dressings and screening residents and medical records information. Lead worker of Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs). Administers nursing care treatments to wounds, incisions, oxygen, etc. Participates in treatment team meetings and assists residents during activities of daily living such as grooming and personal hygiene. Other duties as assigned. Mandatory overtime is an essential function of this position. Applicants selected for employment must successfully complete a chemical urinalysis and breath analysis drug and alcohol screening test. All employees shall be subject to drug and alcohol testing for probable cause as set forth in agency and bureau policies. Applicants must successfully complete a criminal background check. This facility is a tobacco free facility.
This position is eligible for an Appointment Incentive of $7,500.00 to the selected candidate who agrees to work for the agency for a minimum period of twelve (12) months. Position Numbers : 0512P00780, 0512P00757, 0512P00805
