Overview
We are seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to join our team. In this role, you will develop and maintain consultative partnerships with company leaders to execute end-to-end delivery of HR services, working under limited supervision. This is a hybrid position based in Austin, TX and you will typically work from our headquarters in Rollingwood 3-4 days a week. In this role you will:
Effectively engage and influence leaders at all levels, consulting to elevate their self-awareness through coaching and reflective listening Identify talent needs and collaborate with management to design, implement, and maintain hiring, onboarding, talent review, reward/incentive, and succession planning processes to fulfill talent needs Facilitate the hiring process by writing job descriptions and job postings, reviewing resumes, phone screening candidates, providing hiring advice and counsel, communicating compensation recommendations, and helping to onboard new talent Analyze business needs and then independently design, develop and deliver training to employees Work with management and employees to resolve performance and/or behavioral problems by helping to document the current state, identifying objectives, creating solutions, and taking corrective action, including termination, as needed Configure and maintain assigned HCM modules, including implementing new or enhanced functionality Support leadership on strategy development and execution, policy development and documentation, and other work needed to mature Texicare’s HR function Maintain knowledge and understanding of the company compensation and benefit programs, coordinate performance evaluations and compensation reviews, and make related recommendations Partner with Legal to conduct investigations in response to complaints, interview witnesses, recommend action, and document findings Maintain knowledge of employment laws and provide advice and counsel to management regarding legal responsibilities To be successful in this role you should have:
Bachelor’s degree in related field 4+ years of HR experience in employee relations, training, and recruiting, or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the skills necessary to perform this position as outlined above The ability to develop strong and influential business relationships Collaborative communication, listening, problem-solving, and conflict management skills SHRM-CP would be a plus Texicare is an equal opportunity employer.
