Join to apply for the SECURITY GUARD role at Pilgrim's.
Reports to the Security Guard Supervisor.
Responsibilities include:
- Completing location Post Orders daily.
- Monitoring plant activity and conducting hourly rounds (checking trailer temps, room temps, and gates).
- Monitoring all associates entering and exiting the building, including vehicle traffic.
- Weighing trailers at weight master scales.
- Answering switchboard after hours.
- Billing loads.
- Following and implementing company policies.
- Operating company-owned vehicles.
- Inspecting trailers for cleanliness and operability.
- Receiving shipments of supplies and raw materials.
Qualifications:
- Ability to read, write, and speak in English.
- Strong computer skills preferred.
- Ability to walk more than one mile on varying terrain, in all weather conditions, and up/down stairs.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions.
- Ability to perform tasks without direct supervision.
- Effective communication under stress.
- Attention to detail.
- Professional attitude.
- Ability to work any shift.
- Security experience is a plus.
- Minimum High School diploma or GED.
