Position Title: Part-time Phlebotomy Instructor
Position Category: Faculty
Position Status: Exempt
Advertised Salary: $915 per lecture hour / $819 per lab hour
Department: Health & Physical Ed Div Office
Classes are held on the main campus in Sanborn, NY. In order to build and maintain an active pool of qualified candidates for this position, SUNY Niagara will accept applications on a continuous basis. Openings may or may not exist at this time. Applications are evaluated on an as-needed basis, and candidates will be contacted when the department has an opening.
Typical Work Activities
Essential Functions: Ability to work with and teach a diverse student population. Ability to speak in front of groups. Must effectively communicate with students, co-workers, supervisors, and the campus community. Must develop, prepare, and present information. Must be able to operate computers and physically perform the duties of the position.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree AND Current certified Phlebotomist, Medical Assistant (AAMA or AMT), or licensed RN with phlebotomy experience.
Desirable Qualifications
Minimum 5 years work experience as Phlebotomist. Formal instruction in educational theory and techniques. Teaching experience.
