Details Classification Title: PRN Senior Occupational Therapist PD30 Department:Rehabilitation Therapies Pay Grade:https://hr.uiowa.edu/pay/plans(https://hr.uiowa.edu/pay/plans) Salary:$45.00 per hour to commensurate Percent of Time:PRN Staff Type:SEIU Type of Position:Temporary: A staff member may serve in temporary status in a continuous appointment for no more than one year to meet an emergency or temporary need of the University. Employees in this classification will not be eligible for University benefits. The Department of Rehabilitation Therapies at University of Iowa Health Care is seeking Senior Occupational Therapists for PRN work at the University of Iowa Medical Center - University Campus. The selected candidates must be capable of caring for acute inpatients with a variety of complex medical conditions. Coverage may includeICU units. Weekday and weekend hours are available. Education Required A minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy is required
Experience Requirements Excellentwritten and verbal communication skills 1-3 years of experience in occupational therapy Ability to function as part of a multidisciplinary team
Certifications Licensure in accordance with the Iowa Board of Physical and Occupational Therapy Examiners is required
Desirable Qualifications 1-3 of years of experience inan inpatient setting Demonstrated leadership in a work or academic setting
