Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) / Polysomnographer (Sleep Tech) Location: Silver City, NM Facility: 1313 E 32nd St, Silver City, NM 88061 Shift: Night Shift (3x12-Hour, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) Job Duration: 13 Weeks Block Schedules: Not Available
Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) / Sleep Technician to join our Cardiopulmonary Unit for a 13-week contract in Silver City, NM. This position requires a skilled RRT with expertise in sleep lab procedures and respiratory therapy. The selected candidate will work in the sleep lab on Fridays and Saturdays, and as an RRT on Sundays. If no sleep lab patients are scheduled, the candidate will assist in general respiratory therapy duties.
Key Responsibilities: • Perform sleep studies and polysomnography assessments in a clinical setting. • Administer respiratory and pulmonary treatments, including oxygen therapy and nebulizer treatments. • Provide comprehensive patient care, including neonatal resuscitation, trauma care, and advanced life support. • Conduct stress testing and outpatient respiratory evaluations. • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements: • Active New Mexico Respiratory Therapist License (No pending applications accepted). • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required. • Minimum 1 year of experience in respiratory therapy and sleep lab procedures. • Neonatal experience required. • Certifications (American Heart Association - AHA required): • Basic Life Support (BLS) • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) • Experience in Critical Access Hospital (CAH) patient care is preferred. • First-time travelers are accepted.
Additional Information: • No pending licenses will be accepted. • Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted with the application.
Pay Package: Weekly Gross:
$1,777.00
