- Operate efficiently the production lines to guarantee the quality of the product and to reach the KPI targets.
How Big Is The Job?
- Responsible for 1 production line and to coordinate the team assigned to the line.
What Are My Main Tasks?
- Strive for 0 accidents.
- Responsible for the quality of the product.
- Drive the tasks of the team assigned to the production line during the shift, to reach the KPI targets.
- Operate efficiently the production line following the process standards.
- Analyze and solve the issues popping up, do repairs and ask support from the Process Technician and the Team Leader when needed.
- Execute the small changeovers and participate in the big ones.
- Execute the daily preventive maintenance and participate in the frequency one.
- Inform the Process Technician about process issues and improvement ideas.
- Inform the Team Leader about technical issues and improvement ideas.
- Identify opportunities and create solutions for the elimination of losses/waste.
- Do an appropriate handover at the beginning and at the end of the shift.
What Do I Need To Be Successful In This Job?
What is the educational requirement for the High School and/or Technical?
What Prior Experience Is Required For The Job?
- MUST have at least 5 years of experience in manufacturing.
- MUST have at least 3 years in a high-speed/fast-paced environment.
- GMP knowledge a plus.
Which Technical Skills Do I Need To Master?
- Specific job skills:
- Knowledge of lean principles (i.e., waste identification, OEE, and limit analysis, SMED).
- Understands how to drive performance improvement across working groups to achieve high performance.
- Mechanical knowledge, mathematical aptitude, and use of small hand tools.
- Able to read measurements, gauges, pressures, and other machine settings.
