Conduct legal research and prepare motions, pleadings, and briefs. Supervise and mentor junior attorneys, focusing on conflict resolution techniques. Prepare legal documents such as motions, pleadings, notices, and discovery requests and responses. Prepare for and attend trials, mediations, and arbitration hearings. Represent clients in court and advocate on their behalf. Perform legal services, including drafting agreements, resolutions, memos, motions, and status updates. Oversee and analyze discovery and documents provided by parties. Serve as the principal contact between the firm and its clients. Conduct initial consultations with prospective clients as needed. Engage in marketing, networking, and speaking engagements to generate new clients (as delegated by partners). Requirements
Member in good standing with state and local bar associations. Proven trial experience and a strong background in litigation. Ability to manage a heavy caseload independently. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal. Ability to mentor and guide junior attorneys. Excellent time management skills and organizational abilities. Education
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. Certifications
Active membership in state and local bar associations. Skills
Strong legal research, drafting, and advocacy skills. Expertise in trial preparation and litigation. Leadership and mentoring abilities.
